Experience/ Testimonials
I am currently doing a full-time Bachelor of Psychology course at James Cook University. I started studying this course from last June while tutoring part-time. Last year, I tutored 4 students who took the PSLE. I tutored one of them in all 4 subjects. She failed her Primary 6 mid-year examinations, but she managed to obtain B for both her English and Chinese and C for her Maths and Science in the PSLE. She used to dislike Chinese very much, so I tried to nurture her interest in the language by lending her my CDs of Chinese pop songs. Another student, whom I tutored in English, Maths and Science, managed to show improvement in her performance and obtained an A in all these subjects in the PSLE. A third student whom I tutored in English managed to obtain an A in the PSLE and the last whom I tutored in English, Maths and Science did well for her English and Science during the PSLE. I see myself as a firm and patient tutor. I try to motivate my students to perform to the best of their abilities by encouraging them to push their own limits constantly but if they have any difficulties understanding any concepts or the contents of any subjects, I will commit to explain the area of concern to them patiently until they really understand the concept. I am able to commit to my tuition assignments.
